Memo 004: Thank Yous and Loose Ends (Backtrack to day after zombie outbreak ends)

Thank you to everyone who came by the hospital and defended it. It wasn't easy, but we did it, and I'm really grateful for everyone's cooperation.

B. Phone (filtered to both the RED Spy and the BLU Spy)

Would it be possible for me to see the two of you today? Sometime before lunch?

C. Phone (filtered to the BLU Sniper, hackable)

Mr Mundy, I was wondering whether you'd like me to take you around town today? If it's not too much trouble, I can meet up with you after lunch.

D. Action (around 1337 Benny Road)

(Miss Pauling seems to be busy with something, being up early in the morning. It looks like she's baking...something. However, based on the annoyed look on her face, it doesn't seem to be working...there's a strong smell of cookies in the kitchen, with just a tinge of a burning smell. Anyone who happens to be awake at 8am in the morning and around 1337 Benny Road may just get a free sample cookie with some crumbly black bits.)

E. Action
(If anyone's around the neighborhoods, they'll see Miss Pauling holding a slip of paper as she navigates through all the houses in the hope of finding one. She's got a bag of something that's emitting a nice smell, if a bit burnt. Approach her?)

F. Action (726 Anderson Lane)

(With some help from the Spies, she found out where Miss Susan stays at. With a bag of cookies (only slightly burnt on the edges) she finds herself at the doorstep. She looks a bit anxious, but eventually she gets enough courage to knock on the door.)

You might get a call or something from the town in a bit. They usually assign you jobs to carry out.

Well, people don't always get the jobs that they're suited to here.

I don't know. I don't think so, unless you want to try for law enforcement. There's the gun store as well, but I'm not sure whether it's possible to work there or not.

I guess...I've been doing alright. Both RED and BLU team members have been helping me adjust to Mayfield, so I'm really quite lucky in that aspect that I have people who look out for me.

Really? I don't feel that I get along with both RED and BLU. It's more of them tolerating me than anything else, seeing as I'm not that useful in anything while I'm here in Mayfield.

Thank you for the compliment, Mr Mundy. I don't think I shoot particularly well, but it is nice of you to say that. The only thing I'm good at is offering help to others; by myself I'm pretty much useless.

I'll get used t' it roight quick seein' that there's not much else t' do. Gonna get rusty with my aim here. If there weren't a whole mess 'f REDs I'd think this was some plan by them t' make me miss on occasion.

If I'm not mistaken, the RED Sniper set up a shooting range of some sort at the recreation center. You could try going there for some practice.

(She's going to conclude the tour by taking him to the park.)

I think you can regain your items through two ways.

The first, which I really do not recommend, is by going to the Post Office. However, you'll have to pay the Postman with something else; it might involve a limb, or your memories.

The second is when Mayfield throws an event at us. Those who participate in the events will usually get something back, though it may not be something they particularly wanted.

I think so. However, what you ask for has to be of equal value to what you're giving up. So if it's something important to you that you want to regain, you'll have to lose something equally as important.

Well, just be careful then. I've heard stories of people who actually lost their limbs to regain their weapons. You can always return your regain later though.
