Memo 004: Thank Yous and Loose Ends (Backtrack to day after zombie outbreak ends)

Thank you to everyone who came by the hospital and defended it. It wasn't easy, but we did it, and I'm really grateful for everyone's cooperation.

B. Phone (filtered to both the RED Spy and the BLU Spy)

Would it be possible for me to see the two of you today? Sometime before lunch?

C. Phone (filtered to the BLU Sniper, hackable)

Mr Mundy, I was wondering whether you'd like me to take you around town today? If it's not too much trouble, I can meet up with you after lunch.

D. Action (around 1337 Benny Road)

(Miss Pauling seems to be busy with something, being up early in the morning. It looks like she's baking...something. However, based on the annoyed look on her face, it doesn't seem to be working...there's a strong smell of cookies in the kitchen, with just a tinge of a burning smell. Anyone who happens to be awake at 8am in the morning and around 1337 Benny Road may just get a free sample cookie with some crumbly black bits.)

E. Action
(If anyone's around the neighborhoods, they'll see Miss Pauling holding a slip of paper as she navigates through all the houses in the hope of finding one. She's got a bag of something that's emitting a nice smell, if a bit burnt. Approach her?)

F. Action (726 Anderson Lane)

(With some help from the Spies, she found out where Miss Susan stays at. With a bag of cookies (only slightly burnt on the edges) she finds herself at the doorstep. She looks a bit anxious, but eventually she gets enough courage to knock on the door.)

I think so. However, what you ask for has to be of equal value to what you're giving up. So if it's something important to you that you want to regain, you'll have to lose something equally as important.

Well, just be careful then. I've heard stories of people who actually lost their limbs to regain their weapons. You can always return your regain later though.

She's not that bad, once you got to know her. She has both her good and bad points. It's not my place to judge her for them.

She IS very good at running things. She's great at planning and keeping things together. So it'd make sense that she'd hire one of the best Snipers in the world to fight for BLU.

*Awkward silences you say? He seems to attract those. Normally he'd fill up this time by lighting a cigarette or adjusting his hat, but since he has neither he just shoves his hands in his pockets and stares across the park.

(She gets them a lot too. She's not actually that good at maintaining conversations outside of small talk and work. She just let the BLU Sniper have his silence and is content with just enjoying the peace around them until he asks her the question.)

Yes, they house other abductees of Mayfield. Some people have a full household of kidnapped people, some have an even mix, and some are like yours, with only one person among the drones.

Well, having a house of drones might be better than having to share a house with someone you don't like.

You can buy food at the grocery. When you get assigned a job in Mayfield, you get paid too as well. I'm not too sure about cigarettes though; I could ask the RED Sniper for you.

It is unnerving to be referred to as "Mrs Mundy". And the drone children in the house...they're just not real at all. I'm not ready to be a mother yet myself.
